Dye Sublimation Printing Process

Design Creation

The process begins with creating or selecting a design that you want to print on the t-shirt. This design can be created digitally using graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

Printing the Design

It is printed onto a special sublimation paper using sublimation ink. Sublimation ink is a special type of ink that turns into a gas when heated without passing through a liquid phase, allowing it to bond with polyester fabric molecules.

Heat Press Transfer

The t-shirt and sublimation paper are placed in a heat press machine. The machine applies heat and pressure to the sublimation paper, causing the ink to turn into a gas and penetrate the polyester fibers of the t-shirt.

Stitching & Sewing

The fabric pieces are assembled according to the t-shirt pattern. This involves stitching the shoulder seams, side seams, and attaching the sleeves to the body of the t-shirt.
